International partners and cooperation

CISRVV journals cooperate with international academic partners who have contributed to the development of our journals over time. Representatives of these partner institutions have been involved in the journals’ establishment and have helped shape them through various stages of their growth and development.

International partners include:

  • Pan-European University in Prague, Czech Republic (JOTS, IJEK)
  • School of Business and Administration of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Portugal (JOTS, IJEK)
  • Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications, University of Zilina, Slovakia (IJEK)
  • Szent István University, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Hungary (JOTS, IJEK)
  • University of Debrecen, Faculty of Economics and Business, Hungary (JOTS, IJEK)
  • Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Faculty of Economics and Tourism, Croatia (JOTS)

Current involvement

Today, cooperation is carried out primarily through editorial board participation and peer review activities. Representatives from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (Portugal) serve on the Editorial Board of JOTS, while representatives from the University of Zilina (Slovakia) and Szent István University (Hungary) serve on the Editorial Board of IJEK. The University of Debrecen (Hungary) is represented on the editorial boards of both JOTS and IJEK. Pan-European University in Prague (Czech Republic) contributes through editorial board participation and reviewer involvement in both journals, and representatives from the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (Croatia) serve on the Editorial Board of JOTS. In addition, colleagues affiliated with partner institutions may act as peer reviewers, selected based on subject expertise and the journals’ reviewer selection procedures.

A complete list of editorial board members is available on each journal’s website.

Ethics policy

CISRVV is committed to meeting high standards of ethical behavior at all stages of the publication process.

The editorial boards, editorial offices, and reviewers strive to follow the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines in all editorial proceedings. We strongly recommend that all current and prospective authors, prior to submitting a manuscript for blind review, visit www.publicationethics.org to become familiar with internationally recognized rules and best practices.

We expect that all parties involved in the publishing process will act ethically, in line with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing and other guidelines approved by COPE.

The editorial boards of our journals follow rules on academic writing and academic ethics, including guidance by Miguel Roig (2003, 2006): Avoiding plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and other questionable writing practices: A guide to ethical writing, available online at https://ori.hhs.gov
